In Carson City, the Sheriff proudly utilizes the services of well-trained Mounted and Uniformed Reserve Units, all certified by the State of Nevada Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission. Reserve Deputy Sheriff’s work along-side paid staff in the Detention Center, on patrol, and at special community events.
